Club Car, the world’s largest manufacturer of small-wheel electric vehicles, helped drive European Tour professionals to a new Guinness World Record for the fastest hole of golf by a team of four.
The Official Supplier to The European Tour provided a fleet of Precedent i2 vehicles, an advanced, high performance golf car, to power the three teams from Spain, France and Denmark at the par five fourth hole at Valderrama.
The viral video, which had more than 175,000 views on YouTube in the first three days, and has achieved a combined reach of more than 12 million people via The European Tour’s Facebook and Twitter pages, can be watched here: www.clubcar.tv
Club Car has a long-standing relationship with The European Tour having supplied a fleet of golf cars and utility vehicles to tournaments around the world since 1999.
Kevin Hart, sales director Golf EMEA at Club Car, said: “Every week our vehicles form part of the logistical backbone of The European Tour and it is an honour to have them play such a key role in setting a new Guinness World Record.”
Club Car has previously appeared in one of The European Tour’s entertaining ‘Every Shot Imaginable’ videos, featuring Padraig Harrington on a driving range taking shots at a moving range ball collector, which currently has more than 320,000 views on YouTube.
